Stepping Forward: Performing Arts for Life as a positive and engaging opportunity for young people in care.
Stepping Forward is a free, self-paced online programme that young people can complete in their own time, using creativity and the performing arts to build confidence and life skills - while also earning £200 into their savings upon completion. (For yp age 13 – 17 who are in care and have been for 12months+)
This is a great way for young people to have a creative boost over the Easter break.
The Virtual School Enrichment Programme offers programmes in academic, social, cultural, sporting and leisure activities to promote achievement for our children and young people growing up in care.
We believe that engaging vulnerable young people in positive activities and offering safe and trusted adults for the young people to talk to, encourages a belief in their ability to succeed. The wide range of activities offered gives our children in care a chance to experience enjoyment and success.
Wolverhampton CEP believes that children and young people should be active in shaping the City’s cultural offer. Wolverhampton is a diverse City and it’s cultural offer to children and young people 0-25 years should reflect this and show their ideas and ambitions.
Wolverhampton Art Gallery offer regular activities for children and young people throughout school holidays as well as special events throughout the year. Click the link for more details.
